Oaks 35 Apartments, Austin

I believe this place should've been fumigated before it became an apartment complex. The rent beats most apartments in san marcos but there's a reason for it. Along side dealing with roaches at least two a day, some of the other tenants are also questionable. After going to a community party Oaks was hosting, I will most likely never attend another because of the experience I had with another person living on the property. Now the management team is friendly, but not much help. If its roaches, they can't do anything until tuesday whenever the pest control service arrives, which in my case didn't go so well so I had to purchase traps and sprays myself to try and control the issue that still persists. Even upon moving in I originally had my unit that I signed the lease for already and once I arrived to pick up my keys, I was told that I would no longer be getting that room and was switched to another unit. The only thing I will say that is good about this place is the maintenance guy who lives on site does a really good job at fixing anything wrong in the units and is quick with attending to work orders. But other than him, this place is not somewhere I would live again at or reccomend to anyone.
