Great apartment building especially if you're looking for something pet friendly (I was not). Leasing agents - Kendall and Jordyn - are second to none.
What did you like most?
Great communal indoor space, friendly neighbors, fantastic neighborhood
What did you like least?
Could have more lounge chairs outside and more grills

Very painless - move in super easy, too. Reserved freight elevator and just threw stuff in huge carts. Whole things took 1 hour.
What did you like most?
Roof/pool scene is awesome. They're always improving stuff, too. Great place to grill, have nice food, use pool/sauna, etc. Also everything is always clean, inside and out.
What did you like least?
So far no real pain points - they do shut down the roof at 11pm or 12am, but that's probably for the best haha.

Overall I am happy living in this building. It is in a great neighborhood with excellent options for restaurants and bars. The building has modern amenities and I never had maintenance issues. It is close to many popular spots, not just including restaurants / bars. It is an easy commute to downtown for work. There is a bus stop, dry cleaner, and grocery store all within a block of the building.
What did you like most?
The building hosts several events where we get to meet other tenants. Some events included happy hours at bars, BBQs on the roofdeck, a magic show, game watches in the main lobby, and other events of this nature. The building is very good at communicating these events so there is usually a good turn out.
What did you like least?
The neighborhood can tend to be somewhat loud at times depending on what side of the building you live. This can be distracting at times especially at night. It is not something that is unbearable. The second, more disappointing, critique of the building is that the utilities bill is not based on usage but rather on the square footage of your apartment. To explain, the heat and AC charges for the overall building gets allocated to you based on the size of your apartment; regardless of whether or not you have used your heat and AC unit. So if I don't use my heat, for instance, I can still have a heat bill because others in the building have used their units.

Location & Neighborhood

River North

If you want an energized urban experience, River North Chicago is the neighborhood for you. Its unique blend of commerce, housing, and tourism makes it one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Chicago. Most River North residences are glass or brick high rises, and a smaller portion of residents live in converted warehouse lofts.

If you’re a local, River North doesn’t offer as much communal or park space as other neighborhoods, but pet lovers still take advantage of the neighborhood’s pet-friendly buildings and river views. If walkable streets are a must, check out Gold Coast or Fulton River District.

With easy access to Chicagoland highways (I-90/94 and Lakeshore Drive), CTA Brown Line and Red Line, and The Loop (within walking distance), commuting from River North is usually a breeze… unless you’re driving during rush hour.

If you live in Chicago and like to stay out late, River North is probably where you’ll end up. With clubs like Tao, bars like Bub City, Three Dots, and Dash, as well as music venues like Howl at the Moon and The Redhead Piano Bar— River North is a party every night of the week.
