Silver Tower is a glass construction (2009), full-amenity condo building in the heart of River North.
What Occupants Love
Excellent nightlife and dining options. Fun pool/deck scene. Excellent in-unit temperature control. Solid shower pressure and internet/Wi-Fi connectivity. Well maintained. Building staff goes above and beyond.
What Occupants Love Less
Moderate elevator wait times. Residents say that the surrounding area (and at times the building itself) can be a bit noisy and raucous.
Nearby Silver Tower Chicago
The building and location in Chicago are excellent; second to none if you want to live in the River North area and be close to all the action Chicago has to offer. The roof deck (no pool) equipped with lounge chairs, grills, tables, fire pit etc/ provide views of the city that are unparalleled. I am certainly a younger owner in the building at age 24 and have had one or two issues with noise, which would be my one warning/complaint. That's not to say gatherings are restricted, because they aren't and I have friends over quite frequently (perhaps I just have picky neighbors!). With that being said, if you think this building is for big time partying you are potentially looking in the wrong building. There is a diverse crowd in this very nice building and I think the residents take pride living here. What do you like most: Roof deck, views, doormen, gym in the building. What do you like least: I really do not have a single issue with the building or my unit, other than the noise issue which I previously addressed.
Excellent. What do you like most: Gym. View. What do you like least: Neighbors are not very social.
It's a great building with a mix of 30 year olds and young families. People are overall pretty friendly. Management and door staff have change frequently, so relationships are difficult to build especially for someone who's lived in the building for 6 years. What did you like: Location and view. What did you like less: Lack of pool.
