Nearby Huron Plaza
30 E Huron is a condo building. The demographics of owners and renters is pretty evenly split. The experience and price for renting entirely depends on the owner of your unit. That being said, basic cable and internet are included in rent. Some units have in unit washer and dryer and some do not, but here is a large laundry room on the amenity floor. The gym is basic for most needs and there is a pool, roof deck with grills and cabana, movie theater, and party room. Unlike rental building these amenities are free to use with the the hold of a damage deposit. Moving in can be kind of difficult since a lot of people are owners and dates don't line up nicely with the lease cycle. In typical high rise you can only reserve the freight elevator in certain time blocks and never on the weekend. The neighborhood is great as it is at the north end of River North between two churches. So the street itself is very quiet, but one block in any direction yields all the neighborhood offers.
What did you like most?
The amenities and location.
What did you like least?
Dealing with our first time landlord. He is very green at dealing with apartment issues.
Great location, updated building, social. What did you like: Location, good amenities.
I like living in this building based on location and my unit is pretty decent. I have a difficult landlord who does not live local. What did you like: The location and amenities are decent. What did you like less: My landlord and one/two rude/unhelpful doormen.
