A great location. Can easily get to gold coast, river north, or Old Town.

Building is very well kept up and the remodel of fitness center and common areas are great. Management is great to work with and very responsive. The building is old, has bugs and terrible HVAC. More details below.
What did you like most?
East view from my unit is amazing. Management great to work with and polite/responsive. Location is ideal. Unit was very nice upon move-in, remodeled/upgraded and very clean. Daytime doorman is very nice and friendly.
What did you like least?
There are roaches (they call them waterbugs) everywhere. One was in my unit once but I see them in the common areas constantly. They are huge and terrifying. I see them by the pool, in the laundry and fitness center and in common areas. HVAC is not ideal. They keep the building so hot that my unit was too warm and sliding doors had to remain open all winter just to maintain 70 degrees, otherwise it crept up to 75 degrees. Also the AC broke twice at the beginning of summer for days during a heat wave. Water pressure for hot water is not great and they couldn't fix it.

Love the layout of my apartment. The view is great. Just made a lot of upgrades to the building and community areas which were needed to stay modern. Can walk almost everywhere.

Neighborhood
If you want an energized urban experience, River North Chicago is the neighborhood for you. Its unique blend of commerce, housing, and tourism makes it one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Chicago. Most River North residences are glass or brick high rises, and a smaller portion of residents live in converted warehouse lofts. If you’re a local, River North doesn’t offer as much communal or park space as other neighborhoods, but pet lovers still take advantage of the neighborhood’s pet-friendly buildings and river views. If walkable streets are a must, check out Gold Coast or Fulton River District.
With easy access to Chicagoland highways (I-90/94 and Lakeshore Drive), CTA Brown Line and Red Line, and The Loop (within walking distance), commuting from River North is usually a breeze… unless you’re driving during rush hour.
If you live in Chicago and like to stay out late, River North is probably where you’ll end up. With clubs like Tao, bars like Bub City, Three Dots, and Dash, as well as music venues like Howl at the Moon and The Redhead Piano Bar— River North is a party every night of the week.
