Individually owned units. Neighbors don't mix regularly. Very interesting/unique unit. Property manager is great. While not a ton of bars/dining in the immediate area, 1/4 mile walk gets you all you can ask for. Convenience to CTA is great. Will have been here 3 years when we move next spring, and will have enjoyed our time.
What did you like most?
CTA convenience. Unique unit. Good neighborhood mix.
What did you like least?
Building management can be slow. For instance, if there is a plumbing issue not in your unit, it isn't convenient or quick to get a hold of building mgmt to fix the issue. Really, that's the only major complaint.

Fulton River District

Fulton River District is one of the fastest-growing residential areas in Chicago. Close to River North and The Loop, the neighborhood was once home to Chicago’s transportation and warehouse industries. Here, you’ll now find a mix of re-purposed lofts and high-rise apartments just north of West Loop and West Loop Gate. Since this neighborhood was originally used for industrial purposes, residents won’t find much greenery in this area. However, there are extensive restaurant options and easy access to grocery stores.

The Fulton River District neighborhood is home to many Chicago favorites, including Blommer Chocolate Factory (so expect the faint smell of chocolate from time to time). The offices of Fulton Market and The Loop are only a short walk away, and many residents live here for an easy commute.
