Quiet, Clean space that's located very easily accesible by Metra, CTA, and car. Parking can be a problem without daily stickers if you do not have your own parking space. Residents are polite and to themselves. Building employees are very good at their job and friendly. They take pride and help you out when you need it. What do you like least: The gym is something that is sorely lacking. 2 ellipticals, 2 tread mills, 2 bikes, 50lb dumbbell set, and a lat pulldown machine. It could use more diversified machines and a larger space. The deck could have more amenities for gatherings.

I chose to live here because it's so close to public transportation. I can take the metra to work and I can also take the el to midway and Ohare airports

Location

Printer's Row

Printer’s Row is located just south of The Loop and is close to the Chicago River. Its name came from the many buildings in the area that were used by publishing businesses in the late 1880s. Now, those same buildings have been converted into residential condos and lofts. You will find a mix of housing options here, from converted residential lofts to new high rises, making it the perfect neighborhood mix.

If you’re planning on living in Printer’s Row, expect tree-lined streets, historical, red brick buildings and a friendly neighborhood vibe. You’ll be a short walk away from major train lines and busses for a short and easy commute. Sitting in between The Loop and South Loop, expect a quieter oasis in the heart of Chicago. You’ll see friendly faces and small, neighborhood shops that will make you forget you’re in the middle of downtown Chicago.
