Overall, we really like living in the South Loop and are very happy with our decision to join the Alta Roosevelt community.
What did you like most?
We really like the location the best. It is centrally located in the South Loop but has a smaller neighborhood vibe as it’s tucked away in a little corner that doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic.
What did you like least?
The metra LaSalle station can be quite loud, especially with windows open. We are on a higher floor and can still hear the trains very audibly in the mornings and evenings.

Printer’s Row is located just south of The Loop and is close to the Chicago River. Its name came from the many buildings in the area that were used by publishing businesses in the late 1880s. Now, those same buildings have been converted into residential condos and lofts.
