I love living in Uptown, and the building staff is great. Management tries it's best, and they generally do a great job. It's an older building, nothing super fancy, but I am pretty happy living there.

    What did you like most?

Neighborhood. Closeness to the lake and beaches. Excellent staff, great door people who take pride in their job and also know everyone by name.

    What did you like least?

Older building, so though maintenance works very hard, there can often be some repairs that need to be done. But management does a great job organizing these and notifying everyone.

Immediate location is really nice and super close to Lake Michigan, but surrounding area is violent and I never feel safe walking home from the train. Building management is on top of things and courteous. My roommate and I have had a few bad experiences with the neighbors, which lessens my comfort level at home. Will be moving as soon as our lease is up next June. What did you like: Proximity to the lake. What did you like less: Sketchy area, not many restaurants or much nightlife. Weird neighbors.
