The Fornelli Tower / Pittsfield Building is an apartment building (1927) in the Loop.
What Occupants Love
Residents boast of the bang-for-your-buck rent to go along with the high ceilings.
What Occupants Love Less
Management is not overly helpful. Mediocre set of options in the immediate neighborhood for dining or nightlife.
Nearby Fornelli Tower
Very affordable for the area, a little tight for 3 bedroom, management is distant, overall fine for the money
Relatively satisfied compared to monthly rent. Interior is remodeled but the building itself is old. Elevators, securities and management could improve.
The building is older and Art Deco so it has a character that I like, and doesn't have many amenities which I would prefer not to pay for anyway. So my preferences differ from people seeking new buildings with amenities. I like the more authentic and less stale feel if the building. The units are clean and attractively laid out, with high ceilings. What did you like: The high ceilings. What did you like less: The old, dark beige carpeting in the bedrooms.
