My experience with the building has been good especially after the new property management take over the building. The public areas are cleaner, and they are also a lot more responsive. The old property management company (Patrick Kane Property management) was horrible. It was always very hard to reach them with problems.

What did you like most?

the location- in printers row. Close to everything.

What did you like least?

I wish there is a pool

It was a good experience, well maintained. The people could be kind of sticklers, but overall it was good. The surrounding area didn't have a ton of options for dining or nightlife, but I was right by the red line so it was easy to go to better places.

Not impossible or bad but frustrating at times and not convenient.

What did you like most?

Size and price of the apartment.

What did you like least?

Other owners are hit or miss - some are friendly and others won't hold the door for you even if you have both arms loaded with grocery bags.) Management company is awful (difficult to reach - takes days to respond to email; random strict rules about letting in guest and what days/times furniture can be moved in, etc.)

Printer’s Row is located just south of The Loop and is close to the Chicago River. Its name came from the many buildings in the area that were used by publishing businesses in the late 1880s. Now, those same buildings have been converted into residential condos and lofts. You will find a mix of housing options here, from converted residential lofts to new high rises, making it the perfect neighborhood mix.

If you’re planning on living in Printer’s Row, expect tree-lined streets, historical, red brick buildings and a friendly neighborhood vibe. You’ll be a short walk away from major train lines and busses for a short and easy commute. Sitting in between The Loop and South Loop, expect a quieter oasis in the heart of Chicago. You’ll see friendly faces and small, neighborhood shops that will make you forget you’re in the middle of downtown Chicago.
