Great space, good bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Overall between the hospital, school, and churches it can be a noisy high-traffic area, but that suits our overall vibe as people so we don’t mind much

What did you like most?

Lots of space, close proximity to music venues and local stores (grocery, aldi and target). Close proximity to the El makes for easy commutes.

What did you like least?

Very thin walls and terrible heat control in the winter (we duct taped our leaky windows to keep in the heat). Neighborhood is close in proximity to many halfway houses meaning homeless presence is high in the neighborhood. This just naturally leads to a neighborhood that is a bit seedy but we affectionately call Wild Wild Wilson.
