This is the first time I've rented a condo from an individual - the unit is beautiful but the heat/cooling/plumbing is so unreliable we'll be moving out after the lease is up.

What did you like most?

The views are amazing. The finishes around the apartment are beautiful. There's a rooftop pool which we hope to use if Chicago summer cooperates!

What did you like least?

The heat/cooling is completely unreliable. There's now water damage in the ceiling from the recent rainfall which apparently happens annually. The plumbing in the bathroom is unreliable and we've just turned it off at times because we're tired of coordinating for a plumber. It's the downfalls of home ownership without the benefits.

My building and neighborhood overall is a fantastic place to live. I lucked out with great landlords, but the management team could use great strides for improvement.

What did you like most?

Access to transportation; close the lake and Lincoln Park; abundance of restaurants; and safe neighborhood.

What did you like least?

Management team.
