It was a good experience however the lighting in the building is extremely poor and if you go too far north it can feel a bit sketchy (i.e. Wilson)

Pros: - Location has everything you need: quick walk to the Sheridan Red Line stop, Thorek Hospital is very close, Montrose Beach is a wonderful park less than a mile away, grocery stories up the street, good food options. - The maintenance crew is fast. - Bedrooms are large and good community spaces Cons: - Terrible lighting, gets dark - Not laid out the best with a hallway up the center bridging the kitchen and living room - Not the most artsy area. Wriggleyville is close enough that the scene is more frat and less hipster. This could be a pro for some people, but it wasn't in my case.
What did you like most?
Love how close the park is since I'm big on running. It's fantastic in the summer to run a couple miles or rollerblade up the lakeshore then jump in Lake Michigan afterward.
What did you like least?
The social scene was a little older than I would have liked and too close to the frat culture of Wriggleyville. Overall, the area is calm and pleasant, but not a cultural fit for me.
