The space! Large kitchen and communal space. Location, close to our friends, restaurants, and the red line.

Shared closet space between rooms. Good chance of hearing the other person in the other bedroom. The landlord is horrible. He claims he asked us to not use RCN as a cable provided at move in. No recollection of conversation. Nothing in lease about use of cable companies. Instead of approaching us to discuss the subject, he (or his staff) CUT our cable cord without any notice. I am pretty sure this is illegal. We had to deal with the cable company to repair. He not only did this once, but twice. My roommate called to discuss with him, no follow up conversation was had. His communication has been poor. He has been slow/non-responsive to contacting us via phone. The times he has communicated via email are spotty. ALL of his communication has been unprofessional. He sent us the following email upon moving out: "Michael/ Erica, I NEED both of your address's" I followed up with asking him when we might receive our security deposit. He said 30 days and asked why there was extreme water damage in the SE corner. I followed up with an email asking what he was referring to and he never replied. I would recommend avoiding "Deco Developments" Upon return of our deposit he also left a note that said "Erica/Michael, If you are looking for an apartment in Andersonville, Roscoe Village or Lakeview DO NOT CALL ME" Very Rude and unprofessional
