I didn't know what I was looking for in a Chicago apartment. The place showed very well, had a back yard and parking, so we jumped.
In retrospect there were structural red flags about the unit (top floor in a 3 flat) like water pressure, temp control, electrical, that I would never have thought to check for at the time but were terrible.
What did you like most?
Big back yard, skylight, great looking space.
What did you like least?
Building was falling apart internally, neighbors were crazy.
