Overall experience has been excellent. Will be moving at the end of August and am sad to leave the building and neighborhood. Good value for the space, management, and service.
What did you like most?
Lots of space, clean laundry, central A/C, extra storage in the basement, and location.

Old front doors of unit, lack of counter space in kitchen

Overall great renting experience at my current building. Landlord is always responsive & they are constantly making updates to the old building. I have lived there for 3 years and they've replaced appliances, rebuilt the outdoor space & updated all windows. Common areas kept fairly clean for an old building & maintenance main is responsive to maintenance needs in apartment.

- Very minimal raise in rent over the past 3 years - spacious apartment with reasonable rent in a great area close to the lake - very attentive to issues that happen in an old building (plumbing, etc.) - landlord keeps a good eye on apartment to ensure sa

Lincoln Park

Just north of Old Town, Lincoln Park is one of the largest and most popular Chicago neighborhoods– and for good reason. Most residents are a short distance away from some of the best nightlife, dining, lakefront parks, shopping, and tree-lined streets in the entire city. It combines all the best aspects of a close-knit community with the appeal of the big city. This means rental prices can be high.

Residents live mostly in walk-ups, but there are quite a few high-rises, especially near the lake. Lincoln Parkers are spoiled with their close proximity to the lake and ample running and biking trails. Lincoln Park has the second largest shopping concentration in the city: ranging from high-end boutiques to secondhand resale shops.

Lincoln Park also offers public tennis and basketball courts, baseball and softball diamonds, and soccer fields that are used recreationally and by intramural leagues. Weekends can be spent strolling through the Lincoln Park Zoo, hitting a bucket of golf balls at the Diversey Bay Harbor, or heading to Lakeview or The Loop easily via the Brown Line.
