Just moved into this building a week and a half ago, so don't have too much to say. Main complaint is that the walls are very thin/floors need to be restored. Because of this the noise from the apartment above us is extremely loud. Had we known this before moving in, we would have chosen a different apartment.
What did you like most?
The location-very close to great restaurants, bar, the lake and the L stop. It is on a quiet street, but right next to Armitage, so it is quiet, but extremely close to everything.

One landlord owns the whole building (4 units) and lives next door. Apartment is nice enough but she is pretty weird and not that responsive unless it is a serious issue (e.g. plumbing)

Location & Neighborhood

Lincoln Park

Just north of Old Town, Lincoln Park is one of the largest and most popular Chicago neighborhoods– and for good reason. Most residents are a short distance away from some of the best nightlife, dining, lakefront parks, shopping, and tree-lined streets in the entire city. It combines all the best aspects of a close-knit community with the appeal of the big city. This means rental prices can be high.

Residents live mostly in walk-ups, but there are quite a few high-rises, especially near the lake. Lincoln Parkers are spoiled with their close proximity to the lake and ample running and biking trails. Lincoln Park has the second largest shopping concentration in the city: ranging from high-end boutiques to secondhand resale shops.

Lincoln Park also offers public tennis and basketball courts, baseball and softball diamonds, and soccer fields that are used recreationally and by intramural leagues. Weekends can be spent strolling through the Lincoln Park Zoo, hitting a bucket of golf balls at the Diversey Bay Harbor, or heading to Lakeview or The Loop easily via the Brown Line.
