We own a condo in a 4 unit historical building in Wicker Park. We absolutely love it! But we take care of it ourselves with the three other condo owners so many of your questions weren't applicable!
What did you like most?
We love the neighborhood! And I love that our unit is two stores, has two decks, one with a city view, and that is a historic building with lots of wonderful old details you don't see in new buildings. Some of the large loft spaces that are trendy now feel like dorms to me.
What did you like least?
Sometimes I wished we lived in a more organized / ,maintained building so we had less to do! But it's worth it.
