Quiet and green, very diverse neighborhood with great dining options within walking distance in both Edgewater and Andersonville. Rent is cheap for the space and neighborhood. Area also seems to be undergoing some gentrification with the opening of Whole Foods down the street. Rogers Park is about a ten minute walk north and never feels terribly safe to me when I run there but I feel very secure in my own neighborhood.
