Fantastic, responsive, friendly landlord. Location is excellent, right on the edge of Wicker Park, close to all the action, but removed enough that the immediate neighborhood is fairly quiet. Area is very mixed, which I find cool: yuppies, college kids, working class; ethnically diverse; brand new/refurbished condos and people who have lived there for 50 years.
What did you like most?
Location is awesome and convenient. Building is charming, historic, 100+ years old, apartments have original wood moldings, hardwood, floors, etc.; and well-maintained. Big windows and excellent airflow in spring/summer/fall.
What did you like least?
No laundry in unit/building. Heat is not the best, can be a bit chilly in winter. No central AC, though you get such a great breeze that it's only bad for 2-3 days a summer.
