It was a recently renovated building when I moved in, so the in-unit amenities are new and modern. Otherwise, the building is fairly simple- it's just residential units, which is generally fine with me.
What did you like least?
There are several college-age tenants in the building, so it can get noisy in the evenings and on the weekends.

I'm pleased with my decision to move here. Rogers Park has a very unique vibe. The Glenwood Arts district, Loyola's main campus, and a wonderful diversity of nationalities somehow managed to converge. My building is steps from the best the neighborhood has to offer: the shops, the entertainment, the restaurants, and the beach. The building itself is quiet and very well-kept, with management located on the site. The neighbors keep to themselves, but they're pleasant, responsible people when you do meet them. The apartments are very small (for example, you couldn't fit a queen bed in my bedroom), but an appropriate size for people like me who don't have much stuff. The rent is steep with respect to square footage, but you're paying for the location and the amenities. I love having in-unit laundry and A/C.
What did you like most?
My gas & electricity bills are less than what I paid in a 2BR with a roommate. The apartment retains heat amazingly well, a godsend in Chicago winters when you have to pay for gas.
What did you like least?
The building is U-shaped, and my only windows look out onto the alley in the center, so the people across can see directly into my apartment. The only option for cable/internet is RCN, and if you want any kind of TV on the inside of the U, you have to get cable. A digital antenna gets no signal in the alley.
