Virginia Village offers a peaceful, suburban feel just a stone’s throw away from downtown Denver. Located southeast of Cherry Creek, Virginia Village is perfect for those looking to escape hectic city life but enjoy all the conveniences it offers. More restaurants and cocktail bars will be introduced to the neighborhood as the area continues to develop. Plans for improving this neighborhood by building more dining, drinking, and office spaces were approved in 2018 by the Denver City Council.
Locals flock to this neighborhood for the amazing outdoor space and active opportunities it offers. With the Cherry Creek Trail running throughout Virginia Village and the surrounding green space, it’s easy to get outside during one of Denver’s 300+ days of sunshine.
With few restaurants and bars, you’ll find a quiet escape from city life in this vibrant and charming neighborhood. The streets are lined with mostly mid-century modern single-family homes and luxury residential buildings.
Neighborhood Life
The vibe here is very similar to Platt Park and Speer. Virginia Village is a laid-back neighborhood with a perfect balance of green space. Locals are extremely friendly, so it isn’t hard to fit in here (especially if you enjoy outdoor activities). While this neighborhood is mostly single-family homes, a few multi-unit housing complexes are starting to pop up here and there. With all Virginia Village has to offer, this neighborhood will see demand rise in the coming years.

Take a stroll through Ash Grove Park with your dog and layout in the sun at this peaceful and popular green space. Get your Croissant fix at Detour bakery and hop across the street to wash it down with locally roasted coffee from The Sojourner’s Coffee & Tea shop.
