Cheesman Park Apartments

Cheesman Park is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Denver thanks to its expansive green spaces and recreational trails.

Peaceful · Residential · Active · Social · Recreational

This neighborhood gets its name from the beautiful Cheesman Park that takes up about one quarter of the neighborhood. Built on a historic cemetery, this grassy field is home to Denver’s favorite ghost stories. However, that doesn’t keep scores of sunbathers, soccer players, and dogs off its lawn. Find Denverites throwing frisbees, playing volleyball, or picnicking during warmer months at this popular spot. The neoclassical pavilion provides a dramatic backdrop to the expansive lawn that stretches in front of it, sprinkled in variations of colors of flowers.

Cheesman Park apartments are low to mid-rise buildings that densely line the streets. As far as parking is concerned: this neighborhood is sandwiched between two of the most congested areas. Situated between Cap Hill and City Park West, residents sometimes struggle to find convenient street parking. Thankfully, the walkability of Cheesman Park more than makes up for this. Residents are within walking distance of 6th Avenue’s coffee shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as the Denver Botanic Gardens.
