Family-friendly · Picturesque · Active · Secluded · Diverse

Northeast Dallas covers a sprawling area best known for its Lake Highlands enclaves and award-winning Richardson ISD school district, which feeds from east of the U.S. Highway 75 to just north of the Northwest Highway. Further west sits the Village, featuring a collection of average to upscale apartment homes, and, lastly, there’s the diverse Vickery Meadow. Lake Highlands is great for families, with its scenic subdivisions and excellent schools.

Relatively affordable housing options, plus easy access to green space, parks, and White Rock Lake for trails and boating, make Northeast Dallas a top choice for those who want it all, while still remaining close to big-city attractions. The LBJ Freeway loop contributes another major advantage along with the numerous historic homes, which only add to the charm.

Neighborhood Life

Boasting a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere, rallied around its schools, everyone seems to love living in Northeast Dallas. The established look and feel continue to draw new residents; however, developers looking to build on larger lots and replace older decaying homes take advantage of this great location.

From the well-built ranches of the 1950’s, to the generous properties built in the 70’s-era Moss Farm Estates, this area consists of a home for every type of resident, including young professionals and singles. The many new developments and apartment offerings are ideally positioned for easy commutes and a higher quality of life.

Thanks to the extensively-developed highway system, getting to downtown Dallas couldn’t be easier. But, closer to home, this neighborhood supplies everything you need to live well.

Local Hangouts

Top Golf is a sporty new addition in the heart of Northeast Dallas where anyone can work on their golf swing in a fun-filled environment. Also, try out the menu at local favorite, Lake House Bar and Grill, or check out Flag Pole Hill in Lake Highlands for scenic views of White Rock Lake.

Things to know

Northeast Dallas sprawls across a wide expanse of real estate; however, its abundance of niche subdivisions and strong sense of community make it desirable. Here, you have access to both the city and suburbs, affording residents the best of both worlds. Most importantly, Northeast Dallas offers lush parks and spaces to venture out and enjoy nature.

Before being helped by AptAmigo I spent close to 40 hours looking for the right apartment and barely found anything that I was satisfied with. I told Chris what I was looking for and he lined up tours for apartments the very next day. I had so many great options, my problem changed from "is there even a place here I want to live?" to "I don't know which one to choose!". All thanks to Chris and AptAmigo!

Brandi H. Did a wonderful job helping me locate my next apartment. She answered all my questions and was very responsive. She provided a solid list of apartments that met my criteria and made my search for a new pad less stressful. I like how the list she provided detailed which apartments were having specials.
