    This is admittedly my first apartment out of college, so I don't have much of a prior experience to compare this to. It checks all the boxes I was prioritizing, and the building staff are quick to respond to any issues that arise. The tenants aren't rowdy, and the surrounding area is fairly quiet, which is perfect for me. Also, it's much cheaper up here than further south in Lincoln Park or Lakeview. I find it very enjoyable to live here.
    What did you like most?
    I currently live alone, but got a 2 bedroom because the extra space for the cost is really nifty, especially when people come to visit. Plus, it's near the beach, which comes in handy on those days you just want to go swimming.
    What did you like least?
    Being on the top floor, I had a problem earlier in the year when a rainstorm came in and flooded my bedroom (luckily my bed wasn't ruined). This was most likely a random happenstance, but it still was frustrating to have that severe of a leak come through.

    The building transitioned from low income/public to what it is today right around the time I moved in. I really like the building, the excellent laundry facilities, the beautiful lobby and the apartment layout and space (and price). However, there are a few issues that probably stem from previous management companies letting the building fall into disrepair. For example, the bathroom has no ventilation and entire conversations of neighbors can often be heard. There are also minor issues with bugs.
    What did you like most?
    I like the location just around the corner from the lake and Loyola Park. I like the closeness to public transit. I love the cost for the space and I really like the management company.
    What did you like least?
    As stated above, the bathroom issue as well as the bug issue (minor compared to what it could be). Also, the specific few blocks are relatively dead in terms of nightlife/shopping/restaurants.
