Building

Overview

The Belmont by Reside is an old construction (1923) condo building in southeast Lakeview.

Address

3170 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago IL

What Occupants Love

Expansive nearby dining options. Building staff that go above and beyond. Great shower pressure and internet/Wi-Fi connectivity. Community rooftop spice garden. Responsive building management.

What Occupants Love Less

Traffic can be an issue in Lakeview during rush hours. Some residents feel that the units are a tad small and that rents are a bit pricey (but worth it).

Reviews

Great modern update of a classic old building that has great character. Reside is a little more expensive than some of the comps though.

What did you like most?

finishes in the units. Except bathrooms need updates.

What did you like least?

Price a little too high.

I really love living here. The building is up to date despite being an older building and the service is amazing. It feels like a pleasant reprieve from bustle of Belmont while still having all the convenience and nightlife when you leave your home.

What did you like most?

The units are surprisingly quiet. I can't hear anyone above or surrounding me which is wonderful!

What did you like least?

It's a bit pricey.

Love the roof top spice garden

Love the roof top spice garden

What did you like least?

Unit is too small

Great, especially for young professionals.

What did you like most?

Amenities, services (this building is all about customer service and convenience), LOCATION, the lake view

What did you like least?

Noise, traffic, COST (but that is all to be expected in this area)

I love Reside community apartments. I lived in one of their "less nice" ones at Morse and it was still incredible compared to previous apartments I lived in.

What did you like most?

Very attentive management, premium cost for the services but well valued. Nice amenities. Lakeview is great place to live.

What did you like least?

It can get pricey, but I think its worth it given amenities and management.
