This little oasis is known to most Atlantans as Morningside-Lenox Park because the two neighborhoods are so close to each other. Here, you’ll find beautiful craftsman and Tudor style homes, small parks, and farmers’ markets— all within reach of Virginia Highland and Ansley Park. This historic community is full of shopping districts and family-oriented activities, like the Morningside Nature Preserve and the Daniel Johnson Nature Preserve, making it one of the city's emerging neighborhoods. You can pass through this sweet little neighborhood pretty quickly, but if you enjoy intown action with green space— it's worth slowing down for.
Although most residents of Morningside - Lenox Park own their homes, you can still find plenty of rental options. Mostly single-family homes, with a handful of multi-unit complexes that have been built in the past five years. Because this area is located so conveniently close to downtown but offers the serene environment of a suburb, prices tend to run higher than other intown areas.
