Beautiful design, trendy tile in the bathrooms and backslash in the kitchen. I feel like I live in a hotel. As far as convenience, you can't get any better than this. There is a PRIVATE ELEVATOR TO WHOLE FOODS. Literally across the street from Union Station, and walking distance to 16th Street. What more could you ask for? Front desk staff is also super friendly. Residents are happy and friendly too. The amenity floor is always busy with people actually using it, which is rare. There are always people playing games, enjoying the 2 hot tubs, and using the gym. My boyfriend is really into fitness and usually has to go to his membership gyms to access everything he needs. Apartment gyms usually never have the equipment he needs. I was surprised when he had everything he needed here! It's an enormous gym with crossfit equipment, a yoga room, a TRX room, virtual workouts, in-person training, lockers, and more.

This might be against popular opinion, but I'm not a huge fan of Nest thermostats. It blasts uncomfortably hot or cold air into our bedrooms for a short period of time, and leaves the living room untouched. Might just be a sensor issue because the thermostat itself is located in the living room and the vents are in the bedrooms. I have a 2 bed, so this probably wouldn't be an issue in a studio or smaller unit. Packages are dropped in lockers, which are usually reliable, but not always. There are also 3 different mailing addresses for the three different towers. No one told us this at move-in, so I had mail and packages going to other residents for the first month. Chestnut Tower is the only tower that uses the 1770 Chestnut Place address, so definitely check to make sure you have the right mailing address after you move in.
