Located just south of downtown, the famous Music Row is where musicians who are trying to make it big in Nashville might choose to live. Music Row is known for its beautiful old brick buildings that now host a variety of condominiums and businesses.


What streets are Music Row on exactly? The row is actually composed of two streets: 16th Avenue South and 17th Avenue South.

Things to Know

Due to the proximity to Downtown and Hillsboro Village, Music Row is where many energetic residents choose to live. With this popularity, finding a home for sale can be tricky. However, If you’re looking to rent, this is the neighborhood for you. As far as getting around— the area is decently walkable, but Nashville is generally more accessible by car.


Fun fact: One of the most memorable events in Nashville, the Country Music Marathon, is held in this neighborhood each April!
