What Occupants Love Less
Minimal offerings at the gym. Some residents complained about the noise from the surrounding neighborhood.

The apartment's themselves are great. I enjoyed the staff, the atmosphere and my room. What did you like: It provided a hip, Chicago-feel apartment. Great for students looking for summer housing. It provides a great view and is close to large events such as Lolla and other concerts. What did you like less: The area of town closes down early, can be tough to find variety of food options after 8:00pm or so.
Ideal housing for summer interns. Of the 13 Chicago-based interns at my firm, 12 stayed at the Buckingham. If I were to do it all over again, I'd stay at The Buckingham again, no questions asked. What did you like: Our room was maintained extremely well, fully furnished, and had an incredible lake view. In addition, the security staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. What did you like less: The fitness facility didn't have much equipment, but aside from that, I wouldn't change a thing about the building.
