It's a great building with a mix of 30 year olds and young families. People are overall pretty friendly. Management and door staff have change frequently, so relationships are difficult to build especially for someone who's lived in the building for 6 years.
What did you like most?
Location and view.
What did you like least?
Lack of pool.

The building and location in Chicago are excellent; second to none if you want to live in the River North area and be close to all the action Chicago has to offer. The roof deck (no pool) equipped with lounge chairs, grills, tables, fire pit etc/ provide views of the city that are unparalleled. I am certainly a younger owner in the building at age 24 and have had one or two issues with noise, which would be my one warning/complaint. That's not to say gatherings are restricted, because they aren't and I have friends over quite frequently (perhaps I just have picky neighbors!). With that being said, if you think this building is for big time partying you are potentially looking in the wrong building. There is a diverse crowd in this very nice building and I think the residents take pride living here. What do you like most: Roof deck, views, doormen, gym in the building. What do you like least: I really do not have a single issue with the building or my unit, other than the noise issue which I previously addressed.

Location

River North

If you want an energized urban experience, River North Chicago is the neighborhood for you. Its unique blend of commerce, housing, and tourism makes it one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Chicago. Most River North residences are glass or brick high rises, and a smaller portion of residents live in converted warehouse lofts.

If you’re a local, River North doesn’t offer as much communal or park space as other neighborhoods, but pet lovers still take advantage of the neighborhood’s pet-friendly buildings and river views. If walkable streets are a must, check out Gold Coast or Fulton River District.

With easy access to Chicagoland highways (I-90/94 and Lakeshore Drive), CTA Brown Line and Red Line, and The Loop (within walking distance), commuting from River North is usually a breeze… unless you’re driving during rush hour.

If you live in Chicago and like to stay out late, River North is probably where you’ll end up. With clubs like Tao, bars like Bub City, Three Dots, and Dash, as well as music venues like Howl at the Moon and The Redhead Piano Bar— River North is a party every night of the week.
