So far my experience has been good. There were certain alarming building issues that came up in my first two months here that management handled pretty well. My unit's temperature control is okay and the units aren't very soundproof, but the amenities are great and my entire floor was just remodeled. Overall I'd rate my experience as a 4/5 so far.
What did you like most?
The amenities and location are top-notch.
What did you like least?
It's extremely windy (you can hear the wind howling at all times) and the units aren't very soundproof.

Really good apartment, great location close to the lake - pretty expensive but close to all the good bars on Wells also.
What did you like most?
The rooftop pool is incredible and can get pretty rowdy, which is good for me now, but I can't imagine older people with kids enjoying it.

Location

Old Town

Old Town, nestled between Gold Coast and Lincoln Park, takes on these two neighborhoods' attributes and blends them seamlessly. The affluent nature of Gold Coast’s high rises merges with the tree-lined streets and boutiques of Lincoln Park.

Old Town is one of Chicago’s oldest neighborhoods and is steeped in history. Residents live primarily in townhomes, 3-flats, or single family homes. However, there have been multiple new construction high rises built in the last 5 years, including Old Town Park. Old Town’s connection to the loop is via the brown line at the Sedgwick stop.

On weekday mornings, Old Towners can be found sipping on espresso at Elaine’s Coffee Call or taking a look at the latest art pieces at the contemporary art studio. Weeknights in Old Town can be spent eating at Kamehachi, the self-proclaimed “first sushi restaurant in Chicago,” then catching a comedy act at Second City Theater.
