I am very pleased with my unit. With the loft ceilings, brick, and open space, I find people are very impressed with my space when I host friends. I am very comfortable here, and I don't plan on moving for awhile. It is in a great location in Chicago, and the bars and restaurants surrounding me are filled with adults my age. Although I live in a studio, it's nearly 900 sq feet with a wall separating the living and bedroom area. I feel that if pressured enough, the management is fairly accommodating.
What did you like most?
I like the amenities of the building (rooftop, gym, rec room) and location. I also like the "style" of the building.
What did you like least?
Although the management is fairly accommodating, I feel like work that is done on my unit is just enough to get by. For example, the carpet was supposed to be replaced upon moving in, but it was only cleaned. When I pointed this out ad the carpet installation workers came, they left my apartment a mess and left dark handprints all over my white couch. While I realize this was an outside job, I feel that the management only hires the cheapest labor.

Great experience so far not only with the building, management and amenities but also a fantastic location in the heart of Old Town. It has a neighborhood feel with endless Restaurants, bars, coffee and also very close to Lincoln park, the beach and downtown.

Location

Old Town

Old Town, nestled between Gold Coast and Lincoln Park, takes on these two neighborhoods' attributes and blends them seamlessly. The affluent nature of Gold Coast’s high rises merges with the tree-lined streets and boutiques of Lincoln Park.

Old Town is one of Chicago’s oldest neighborhoods and is steeped in history. Residents live primarily in townhomes, 3-flats, or single family homes. However, there have been multiple new construction high rises built in the last 5 years, including Old Town Park. Old Town’s connection to the loop is via the brown line at the Sedgwick stop.

On weekday mornings, Old Towners can be found sipping on espresso at Elaine’s Coffee Call or taking a look at the latest art pieces at the contemporary art studio. Weeknights in Old Town can be spent eating at Kamehachi, the self-proclaimed “first sushi restaurant in Chicago,” then catching a comedy act at Second City Theater.
