Great option if you're looking for a cheap building, nice unit, and amazing location.
What did you like most?
Pet friendly. I have a great unit with lots of sunlight. Hardwood floors. Inexpensive and great location. Internet included
What did you like least?
Terrible amenities and community spaces - poor excuse for a gym. Long elevator waits. No in-unit laundry.

Overall, very good. Parking in the neighborhood could be better, and that's my biggest complaint, but not a deal-breaker (and this is an issue all over Chicago).
What did you like most?
"The location is great... Feels secluded, is quiet when it needs to be quiet, but great neighborhood bars and restaurants are less than a block away. Also, the mechanics and janitorial staff are top-notch; friendly people, and they do a great job.
What did you like least?
The building manager, whose name is Dino, is the worst.

It's fine - it was a convenient sublet for me until I move in with my boyfriend in Roscoe Village in July. I'm in my late 20s, and the building is full of younger people (early 20s), so the lobby is usually a wreck after they all come back drunk, haha. I don't mind, but at this point in my life I'd prefer to be in and area that's a little quieter. The individual units are pretty good, kitchens are small and there isn't central air. The common areas aren't that nice, but it's nice that there's a gym and roofdeck at all, I guess. Great for people in their early 20s, but I'm a little too old for it to be ideal for me at this point in my life! The laundry room is fine, but I've seen roaches in there, which is gross.
What did you like most?
Nice to live so close to the lake, the finishes in the apartment are pretty good (hardwood, baseboards, ceiling fans) and there's a roofdeck, even if it's small.
What did you like least?
People trash the lobby, no central air, so the common areas get stuffy, roaches on the 1st floor sometimes, younger kids can be loud, which is annoying.
