Great pool, excellent location. Crappy drafty windows that can not be changed, no central air, ceiling heating (what?!), thru building vents you hear other people. I enjoy the building but the bitter cold in the winter due to windows have made me think to move multiple times.

Great. Overall, its a great community to live in. Very close to bus routes that can get me downtown Chicago in just over 20 minutes (express bus 134 in the early mornings).
What did you like most?
rooftop pool- its literally the best thing ever. Great for summer days/nights and pool parties...you can see the Chicago fireworks on wednesday and saturday nights from the roof...everybody was up on the roof for the blood moon that happened just a few days ago.

It's not fair for me to put this here because in 6 months i'll be appreciating the update...but....our buildings 2 elevators are currently going through a modernization one at a time. The whole process will take 6 months (3 months per elevator). This had made wait times increase significantly during peak hours. Otherwise when I'm leaving the building in the early morning for work and come home from work after the rush...its not that bad. Ultimately, this modernization will make the overall living experience better once the project is complete. The weight room in this building is literally a 10 by 10 ""closet"" (its not really- but it is a dungeon) in the basement. It's very clear that this was turned into a weight room for the sole purpose of advertising/marketing for the building...I would never use it myself...thankfully I attend a gym outside my building.

Location

Lincoln Park

Just north of Old Town, Lincoln Park is one of the largest and most popular Chicago neighborhoods– and for good reason. Most residents are a short distance away from some of the best nightlife, dining, lakefront parks, shopping, and tree-lined streets in the entire city. It combines all the best aspects of a close-knit community with the appeal of the big city. This means rental prices can be high.

Residents live mostly in walk-ups, but there are quite a few high-rises, especially near the lake. Lincoln Parkers are spoiled with their close proximity to the lake and ample running and biking trails. Lincoln Park has the second largest shopping concentration in the city: ranging from high-end boutiques to secondhand resale shops.

Lincoln Park also offers public tennis and basketball courts, baseball and softball diamonds, and soccer fields that are used recreationally and by intramural leagues. Weekends can be spent strolling through the Lincoln Park Zoo, hitting a bucket of golf balls at the Diversey Bay Harbor, or heading to Lakeview or The Loop easily via the Brown Line.
