Neighborhood Vibe

Situated just south of the city, the Denver Golden Triangle neighborhood is removed from the action but still right Downtown. This area has a unique way of being quiet and eventful at the same time. Because Civic Center Park and the Capitol Building occupy this neighborhood, many of the city’s events are hosted here. From festivals and parades to food trucks and concerts. You might even catch quirkier events like Cupid’s Undie Run.

Favorite Spots

Golden Triangle has fewer dining options than other neighborhoods but is still full of places you could easily become a regular at. The Fainting Goat, Stoney’s, and Lowdown Brewery are local favorites; and Torchy’s Tacos has developed a cult following. Civic Center Park, Sunken Gardens Park, and Cherry Creek Trail all offer plenty of green space. If friends are in town, The Art Hotel is a unique place for them to stay. Next door, the Denver Art Museum and the Clyfford Still Museum are not to be missed.

Things to Know

This neighborhood has easy access to Cherry Creek Trail, a popular commuter bike path and scenic walking trail. As one of the western-most downtown neighborhoods, the Golden Triangle has stellar, unobstructed views of the mountains. The population is less dense than central downtown, meaning more parking options and space to walk the dog. This area was late to the party as Denver boomed in the 2000s, which means there are now lots of new construction projects, never-been-lived-in units, and great rental deals as these new buildings race to fill vacancies. If you're looking for a similar vibe without the price tag, check out the Denver Tech Center.
